Art Inspired in a COSP Facilitator Training

A creative moment from a Circle of Security Parenting (COSP) Facilitator Training training, where participant Ben Fox, a licensed mental health counselor, shared his artistic interpretation of key COSP concepts. The artwork combines multiple materials (pen, paper, pastel, felt, and fabric) to explore themes of "being on the circle," Shark Music (anxiety/fear responses), and the process of rupture and repair in relationships.

We just finished another round of online COSP Facilitator Training with a lovely group from Region A. During our time together, one of the participants, Ben Fox, shared some of his drawings with the group. The group enjoyed having a peek into the creative world of an artist while learning COSP.. We are thankful to Ben for giving us permission to share with others. We thought you might enjoy seeing it, too.

Here's how Ben describes it, "Art work inspired while part of COSP facilitator training, April 2023: Seeing oneself ‘on the circle’ with Shark Music, Rupture and Repair. Pen, paper, pastel, felt and fabric."

Ben Fox LCMHC, is an expressive art and equine therapist. He is Clinical and Program Director, Moonrise Therapeutics in Taftsville, VT, USA.
