Find-A-Facilitator

I am a Clinical Psychologist with 17 years of experience in both NHS and Social Care provisions. My experiences allow me to take an integrative approach to support people to make sense of the difficulties that they experience, with a view to bringing growth and containment back into focus. I have developed a special interest in supporting children and adults to recover from complex relational trauma.

I use COSP in my work with Cornwall Council, supporting parents and carers to improve and sustain secure attachments with their children following extreme experiences of trauma.

I hold a small independent practice in West Cornwall where I can provide COSP on an individual or group basis either face to face or via Zoom/TEAMs depending on the group/individuals needs. Please contact me to discuss your needs.

Jeg jobber i Barne- og familieteam ved helsestasjonen. Jeg har holdt ordinære COS P-kurs sammen med ansatte i ulike tjenester i kommunen, og holder nå mest COS P-kurs som vi har tilpasset til ungdomsforeldre, sammen med min nærmeste kollega. Kursene holder vi i siste del av arbeidsdagen, mot tidlig ettermiddag.

I am available to facilitate COS one-on-one or group. I have more then 15 years experience in working with and supporting families. I am particular interested in working along side those who live with disability and complex trauma.

I am working with parentes who struggle to understand and how to meet their childrens needs and behavior.
Individual and in groups I use Cos P. I have been doing this since 2017, and I have exsperienced this program so helpful for many parentes and other caregivers in kindergartens and schools.

I feel truly privileged to partner with parents to heal, grow, and understand themselves and their children better within the safety of a therapeutic relationship. There is so much hope in knowing change is possible!
I have training in trauma work, and I have a focus on attachment and the impact on our ability to be in relationship with others. I especially value working with clients, couples, and families to build stronger communication, empathy, assertiveness, and perspective. Working together, focused on growth within a culture of acceptance and never judgement.

I have worked in the Early Educational field for 10+ years, and have a large amount of experience working with families and their special needs.

Worked in a Childcare centre for 12 years and since my COSP training I have ingrained the COSP philosophy within my practices with children aged 0-6 years. I have worked with families well to educate them on the COSP program. The COSP became a natural way of how I relate and react to children in my care. I use the COSP language in my practices and in my professional development.
