Summary

Lindsey graduated from Saint Louis University with her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders and Theological Studies. She went on to earn her Masters in Speech Language Pathology from Saint Louis University as well. She has her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed to practice in Colorado.

Prior to moving to Colorado in 2021, Lindsey worked for four years as a pediatric speech-pathologist in the Seattle area, providing home-based therapy and telehealth services, primarily in Early Intervention (0-3 yrs). As a result, she specializes in communication disorders in young children. Lindsey has gained experience with a variety of speech and language disorder areas, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Phonological Processing Disorders, Expressive and Receptive Language delays, Pediatric Voice Disorders, social-emotional and pragmatic delays, and Pediatric Feeding Disorders. Lindsey is bilingual in Spanish and English and has a passion for working with Hispanic, Latinx and Chicano families. She earned her certification as a Circle of Security Facilitator in 2022. Lindsey has always been passionate about parent coaching and education in her practice. Communication and attachment overlap in many ways, especially with young children. The Circle of Security program has provided a structure to her practice in supporting families lean into connection with their children on a deeper level. As a therapist, she too utilizes these practices in building secure and trusting relationships with her own patients and families. Lindsey enjoys pairing Speech Therapy with Circle of Security in her practice to support families in connecting when communication can be a challenge. She is in the process of developing a parent group in Denver, CO to support her families further.
