FFACT is a parent support practice rooted in understanding and advocating for those managing early developmentally traumatized youth. We advocate for parents in the trenches. We educate parents, child serving systems, and lawmakers. We advocate for systemic reforms. COSP is a valuable tool in our arsenal to educate and advocate.

Cape Cod Children’s Place is an early education and care center in Eastham, MA, that offers a variety of family supports and parenting classes. FIRST Steps Together is a Massachussetts Department of Public Health program within Cape Cod Children’s Place providing community based, family support, to families with young children who have been impacted by substance use disorder. CCCP and FIRST Steps Together staff are thrilled to have certified COSP facilitators on staff, and will be offering classes on an ongoing basis that are both within agencies that are community partners and to the larger community as needed. We can’t overstate the importance of supporting parents in the challenging work of parenting, and the incredible impact that Circle of Security Parenting can have in empowering parents to cultivate secure attachment relationships with their children. I am an Early Childhood Educator with a career spanning over 30 years, during which I have worked in various child care programs, supporting children of all ages and abilities. My passion lies in Early Learning and care, and I am dedicated to uplifting families, while recognizing parents to be the best support to their children. Since 2008, I have facilitated workshops and training sessions for child care providers and parents on topics such as child development, child guidance, building relationships with families, administration and management of child care facilities, and early years programming. I am a licensed Circle of Security Facilitator and a recognized Good Beginnings and Period of Purple Crying Facilitator. Additionally, I am a mother of four and a grandmother to one, and I currently serve as the Team Leader of the Child Care Resource & Referral and Beginnings Pregnancy Outreach programs in Penticton, BC. I gratefully acknowledge the unceded territories of the Syilx peoples, on whose ancestral land I live and work as an uninvited settler.

Our practice specializes in therapy and services for pregnant, postpartum, and parenting adults. We run periodic Circle of Security groups virtually and in person.
