I have been a Child & Family Therapist for the past 12 years. All of my work is based on the research of neurobiology and the science of attachment. I facilitate therapy using the following evidence-based modalities: Circle of Security Parenting, Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing, Parent Child Interaction Therapy (IoWA Model), Child Parent Psychotherapy, Mulit-Dimensional Family Therapy, Polyvagal Theory, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I currently work with families in individual therapy from a broad range of ages. I have worked in the past with children, teens, and families on implementing Circle of Security in order to establish psychosocial development and connection. I have lead small groups in different type settings organizations. I implemented interventions in order to grasp the concepts of attachment and connection and how they are important to develop strong minded children. By using a psychoeducation approach with solution focus it will supports the idea of “learn and doing” concept. I have worked in interim housing programs, small group hospital settings as well as religious training workshops specifically for parent child connection. I have lead small groups for over 13 years with a focus on increasing the knowledge of parents in regards to parent-chld relationships and dynamics. I have worked across the Chicagoland and Northshore suburbs areas promoting attachment and how parents / caregivers develop connection in any type of setting.

My desire is to help parents/caregivers understand their child’s emotional world by learning to read emotional needs. This service is offered virtually only.
