Alisha Bartlett
Online COSP Host

Alisha joined COSI in 2020 as an online host. She is grateful to raise her family in the beautiful pacific northwest. Over the past five years she has worked for several non profit organizations facilitating COSP groups. In addition to her role at COSI, Alisha also works as a birth doula and childbirth educator.

When not working Alisha enjoys reading, listening to music and spending time with her family.

Bill Bloom
Senior Operations Manager

Bill joined Circle of Security International in February of 2014. He graduated from Pacific Lutheran University with degrees in English Literature and Fine Arts. Bill has worked in a wide variety of small business settings, usually involved in creating systems and keeping clients happy. For COSI, Bill helps coordinate all of the trainings and is the main point of contact for sponsors.

When not at his desk, Bill can be found spending time with his wife and daughter, outside running and cycling, or down in his basement working on his letterpress.

Candyce Brenner
Online COSP Host

Candyce joined COSI in 2024 as an online host. She has schooling in Business Management, and graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with her Bachelors Degree in Creative Writing and English, with a minor in Communications. Candyce has worked for many years in small business settings, and on a corporate level, most recently as a Communications Specialist and Trainer. In addition to her role at COSI, Candyce also works as an Executive Assistant and Media Manager with a small business.

Candyce lives in the Midwest. When she's not busy with work, she enjoys dancing, as she has studio danced since she was a little girl, writing, reading, hiking, being out on the river, watching football in the cold months (Go Pack Go!), and spending time with her fur babies, family and friends!

Andy Cook
Digital Media Producer

Andy has worked for COSI, helping out in busy times, on and off since 2011. He began as the Accounts Administrator in November 2013. In 2017, Andy became our Digital Media Producer, utilizing his degrees in music production from Spokane Falls Community College and in Broadcast and Electronic Media Studies from Gonzaga University.

When not working, Andy enjoys playing music, woodworking, and spending time with his wife and daughters.

Allison Joined COSI in the Spring of 2024 as an Online Host. She has a background in Product Management and Corporate Training.

When not working she enjoys exploring the natural beauty of the PNW through road trips and hikes. She also is an avid reader and never leaves home without at least 2 books.

Angela Dierdorff
Compliance and Provider Support Specialist

Angie joined COSI in October 2015 and currently manages the accreditation process for continuing education and training, oversees the translations of the COSP materials, and supports providers in the delivery of the COSP program.

In her spare time, Angie enjoys gardening, biking, and volunteering for the Spokane chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness as a Family Support Group Facilitator.

Project Coordinator COSC Courses

Amy joined COSI in April 2022 as an online host. She graduated from Purdue University receiving a BS in Individual and Family Development with an emphasis in Child Development. Her past work experiences provided her with opportunities to help support children, families and teachers access services and reach individualized developmental goals in a variety of settings. She is a registered COSP Facilitator and a Registered COSP Classroom Facilitator. She continues to support online trainings as an Online Host in addition to being the Project Coordinator for COSC Courses.

Amy and her husband live on the coast in North Carolina with their two teenage daughters. They enjoy spending time at the beautiful Crystal Coast and never pass up an opportunity to spend time on their boat.

Josef Fairbanks
Marketing Manager

Joe joined COSI in 2020. He manages marketing efforts, developing and leading campaigns aligned with the company's goals. Joe holds a BA in Film & Media Studies and Government from Dartmouth College and an MS in Marketing from William and Mary’s Raymond A. Mason School of Business. In his free time, Joe enjoys paddling canoes, fishing, and gun dog training.

Rachel Fink
Bilingual Online COSP Host

Rachel joined the COSP team in April 2022. She is a registered COSP facilitator. She fell in love with COSP because it connects her to the guidance and teaching she provided her students and their parents to strengthen their relationship. She strongly believes that a young child needs a loving, nurturing and secure environment in order to thrive. Besides being an early childhood educator for 14 years and COSP facilitator, she has also worked in the health and technology fields.

When Rachel is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband of 27 years, their son and their two daughters. As a family they enjoy traveling, going to the beach and fishing. Rachel also enjoys going cycling with her two daughters.

Stephannie Gerard
Shipping and Training Coordinator

Stephannie joined Circle of Security International in May of 2024. After choosing to leave her first adored job at Barnes & Noble, she decided to put her Bachelor of Science degree in Developmental Psychology to good use. Stephannie struggled in her youth with mental health and took psychology to understand herself and why she was the way she was. She is thrilled to continue to discover more about herself and others with COSI.

For many years Stephannie spent long hours training (and teaching!) Martial Arts, although now she prefers to be on stage with the local theaters acting, singing, and dancing. She loves to read, write, and spend time with her three beloved rescue dogs.

Kelli Green
Online COSP Host

Kelli arrived on the COSI scene as an online Host in October 2023 after watching Kent Hoffman’s Ted Talk on infinite worth. With a thousand questions about why the heck she was the way she was, she attended the COSP Facilitator Training, and most recently The Human Condition, as an attempt to re-parent herself and heal from the trauma of being a kid in the 80’s. She is a BIG FAN of Circle of Security and will gush at length about how every human on the planet should take the courses offered by COSI.

When not working, Kelli enjoys long walks with her dog, Oy the Billy Bumbler. She is an explorer, photographer, musician, performer, and artist who has done everything from creating props for stage productions, to making giant bird masks and photographing them on human bodies, to singing for 60,000 people in the 2002 Winter Olympics.

Matthew Mackenzie
HR Manager

Matthew joined COSI in 2024 as HR Manager. He obtained his B.A. in Political Science and Public Administration from the University of Montana (Go Griz!), and his J.D. in Law from St. Thomas University in Miami, Florida. Matt is excited to bring his background in corporate law and human resources to COSI to assist in expanding collaboration with the growing staff, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment and promoting COSI’s mission.

In his spare time, Matt enjoys all the outdoor activities the Pacific Northwest has to offer. Whether it’s hitting the ski slopes in the winter, enjoying the lakes and rivers in the summer or college football season in the fall. He also enjoys cooking, keeping up with his Goldendoodle, planting/ gardening, and traveling when he can.

Online COSP Host

Brodie joined COSI as an online host in mid-2024. He studied writing, theatre, film, and communications during his time in college at both Northern Michigan University and Southern New Hampshire University, finally graduating with a degree in Public Relations. His studies led to spending over a decade working as a radio DJ and podcast producer, before shifting to non-profit marketing for both his local community theatre and a mental health services facility.

Brodie has lived all over the country, from Michigan to Kansas to California, but recently settled in Illinois on the banks of the Mississippi River with his wife and two dogs. In his spare time, he enjoys going to the movies, cooking, and has recently started to practice woodworking.

Training Coordinator

Kristine Songhurst joined COSI in September 2018. She grew up in Alaska and earned a B.A. in History with a Minor in Dance from UAA. She has worked in multiple areas from health, retail, and education. Most recently, she worked alongside her husband, helping grow his business. As a mom of 2, she also volunteers on the PTO Board of her children's school.

Both Kristine and her husband have been practicing COS Parenting at home with their daughters since 2011. Her interests include parenting, psychology and personal growth. In her spare time, you'll find her enjoying family life, cooking, reading, writing and dancing at Zumba classes.

David Ward
Web Developer

David joined Circle of Security International in November of 2017. He graduated from the University of Washington attaining a degree in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing. After returning from a 7-year stint as an English teacher in Taiwan, David went on to study Computer Science at Oregon State University. He now works to maintain and improve the Circle of Security website in addition to tackling general IT challenges as they arise.

When he's not at work, David enjoys reading, fly-fishing, programming, and getting outdoors.
